Tangi Retreat House (TRH)
Tangi Retreat House is owned by Brenda and Roger Reedy of Luling, Louisiana, formally of Vardaman (near Tupelo), Mississippi. When the kids were small in the 70’s and 80’s, Brenda used to sew a lot. But times changed and her passion for sewing and quilting waned and was dormant until 2010 when something kindled the flame again. She bought a Brother monogram machine and the small flame became a large flame. She joined the Honey Bees sewing group and went to a church Saturday sew day a few times, then she went to a few retreats at Liberty Mississippi. The Honey Bees planted the idea that since she and Roger already owned rental property, maybe they could buy a house closer to the New Orleans area and convert it to a sewing retreat. And the rest is history. The second house looked at fit the bill and the purchase closed in April 2016. A little fix up, a little paint, a little elbow grease is all it took to make the house ready for groups of ladies to come and do what makes them happy (quilting, sewing, scrapbooking, jewelry making or whatever else that works). Our Facilities

The 3600 square foot house sits on a 1 acre rural lot, has 7 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There are 10 high quality twin beds on the first floor and 4 on the second. Bring your own food and cook in our fully equipped kitchen or visit any of the several very good eateries (some of which will cater) in close proximity. We are located 3.4 miles from Mama's Quilt Shop where you can pick up whatever you may need for your projects. Listed below are some of the amenities.
